Our Journey

1998

Suzan Chin-Taylor enters the wastewater and civil infrastructure security industry as the Marketing and PR Director for an international hi-tech, opto-electronics manufacturing firm.

2004

Suzan establishes Creative Raven.

2006

Built a team of 10 creatives and appeared for the first time on the WWETT Show Education Day stage.

2014

Moved business from California to Arizona

2017

Established a second office in Bangalore, India and expanded staff to 40.

2022

Launched the DooDoo Diva's Smells Like Money Podcast.

2023

Expanded digital marketing service offerings and remote team to 62 across 3 continents.

2024

Formed Partnership with Firerock Marketing and Novus Acquisitions to expand service offerings and client base

President / CEO

Suzan founded Creative Raven in 2004 to offer firms in the water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure industry access to comprehensive marketing and business development services tailored to their unique challenges. With over two decades in the industry, she considers herself a 'sewer rat' and feels incredibly blessed to work in an industry vital to daily life. Suzan enjoys hiking, singing in her spiritual community choir, and supporting causes in entrepreneurship, wildlife, and environmental protection.

Ryan Esco

Chief Revenue Officer & Strategic Marketing Advisor

Ryan is an experienced B2B marketing strategist and team leader with deep expertise in aligning marketing and sales. He helps shape messaging, offers, funnels, and content plans that resonate with both technical and executive-level buyers.

Max Esco

Director of Business Development/AI Prompt Engineer

Max brings a sharp eye for detail and a passion for performance-driven marketing to the Creative Raven team. As Digital Campaign Coordinator, he supports the execution of paid media, email, and social campaigns—ensuring timelines are met, platforms are aligned, and data is tracked. With a natural instinct for process improvement and a can-do attitude, Max keeps campaigns running smoothly behind the scenes.

Why the Raven?

Our name isn’t just symbolic—it’s spiritual.

The raven is the spirit totem of our founder, Suzan Chin-Taylor, and an enduring guide behind the mission of Creative Raven. In many Indigenous cultures—particularly among the Tlingit and Haida peoples of the Pacific Northwest—the raven is seen as a bringer of light, a transformer, and a powerful messenger between worlds.

According to legend, Raven stole the sun and brought light to the world, revealing truth where there was once darkness. This tale inspires everything we do: shining light on the value our clients bring to their industries, transforming complex concepts into compelling stories, and helping them be truly seen and heard.
